Isipingo Beach Intermediate School

Isipingo Beach was proclaimed a township for indians in 1964. The initial enrollment at the school on 26 January 1965 was 170 students in standard 7 and 8. On the 25 July 1967, pupils from standard 6 to 8 were transferred to Primrose Primary School. Later these pupils moved to the new Isipingo Secondary School. On the same day, Isipingo Beach Secondary School became a primary school with Mr. S. Ponnen, as the first principal.
