Isipingo Beach Intermediate School

In terms of section 5(4)(a) of SASA the admission age for a learner to a public school is:

• Grade R is age four turning five by 30 June in the year of admission
• Grade 1 is age five turning six by 30 June in the year of admission
  

A) A completed application form. Application forms are available from school.

B) A non-refundable deposit of R3000-00 which goes towards your childs school fees. - Preferably eft payments. Debit/Credit card facilities are available.

C) The following ORIGINAL documents must be presented:

1. Proof of residence by means of a  utility account which must not be older than the last 3 months( electricity ,water,cellular phone account, bank statements, telkom account) in the name of the parents or legal guardian. Photostat copies are not acceptable.

    

2. An official unabridged birth certificate of the learner . (Abridged accepted together with a receipt of application for the unabridged certificate which must be brought to the school as soon as it has been issued)

    

3. An Immunisation Card. A parent must show proof that the learner has been immunised against the following communicable diseases: Polio, Measles, Tuberculosis, Diphtheria, Tetanus and Hepatitis B.

    

4. ID books of biological or adoptive parents or legal guardian.
   

5. The latest school report issued by the previous school if the learner is applying for admission to Grades 2 TO 7, accompanied by a transfer card.
